Which Tyres for heavy camber wear?

Hey!
Which tyres would use recomend cause atm im going through tyres every 4-6 months on the civic and its annoying lol.
What are the longest lasting or watever?
Or just gota put up with this when lowered?

if you're sure it's camber wear, the only way to combat it is to get a camber kit and correct the camber

if you're just guessing and calling it 'camber wear' because either the inside or outside is wearing out heaps fast then i'd be getting a wheel alignment if you haven't already

4-6 months is bad.
First check your alignment settings , excess toe maybe hindering your tyres as well as the camber. How low is your car ?

truth is , pretty much every tyre will wear the same and only last 4-6months like normal. You need positive camber or adjusted toe etc to combat this and prolong tyre life

If the car is too low with wide wheels or aggressive offsets, sometimes you need the negative camber to make things fit. Nankangs have a treadwear rating of 300 compared to high performance bridgestones 140; they will last longer, and you can feel it in the lack of grip.

You probably just need a good alignment though

Hey iv got a wheel alignment lowered bout 3inches front & back and they are 195 wide tires so they arnt wide tires either iv always had the problem since lowered. got wheel alighnments everytime iv changed tyres so thats not the problem

Next time i get tyres which is soon again lol ill see wat they can do .

Know the hardest compound tyres avalable maybe they'll last aa bit longer?

You need to go to a decent workshop to get your alignment done. Also when you get new tyres you should get a symmetric design so that you can have them flipped inside out on the wheels half way through their life to extend the use you can get out of them.

If you are killing tyres that quickly there is something wrong. I have -5 and -3 camber and I am still on the same set of tyres after more than 20,000kms. I got mine flipped inside out after 15,000kms or so.

how many kms are you driving in the 4-6 months? (i just think distance is a better measure than time for tyre wear)

just got my tires alignment and fitted today... had -12mm toe and -10mm toe at the front. they have changed it to +0.5 on both wheels.

car feels alot better now with the steering and cornering.

the tyre shop reckoned the toe would have been a very large contributing factor for my huge camber wear lol.

yep -12mm and -10mm is huge
i'm running -0.5mm on each side and that's fairly responsive as it is

lol silverstones or kelly charges, they last heaps long.
But your car may drift abit, can't say they are the best tyres but they last long and are cheap

Yeah well ill get my toe checked when i get new tyres.

With a camber kit if it is that will it pull the top of my wheel out so it hits the guard or not cause its inline if not a bit past the guard height wise?
Cause i thought it made it cambered wen u lower so ur tire doesnt hit the guard?
