Hi,

I am looking at changing cams, cam gears, valve spring, head gasket and port and polish.

Is it neccessary to take down the whole engine?
Cos I thougth just take out the upper part of the engine is enough.

Please advice. Thanks.

you only need to take the cam head out .....unless you are going to change ur piston and the others......

I will be doing port and polish for both intake and exhaust too.
They told must take whole engine down to dail the cam gears which I thot ???.

It is easy either way & really not important.
