In my current car i have a shitty air horn, just wondering are all honda horns interchangeable or is it model specific?

And can anyone describe how to install one?

most honda horns have the same connector plug so easy swap

sorry to jack your thread.. but for an em1 is the horn/ system/ module thingo in the actual steering wheel? like behind the airbag system or something like that?

cos i'd like to change the steering wheel but just wanna make sure i still have a horn once its changed.

The horn you are refering to is the actual 'siren' which makes the noise, doesnt matter what steering wheel you get as long as you complete the circuit the horn/siren will operate and sound the same

Thanks lan, so its just an easy plug and play. Now i'll just have to locate where to plug and hope that this stupid airhorn didn't **** up the oem stuff.

To the guy above. The horn isn't in the steering wheel, just the button. If you get a steering wheel with a Horn button all shall be sweet.

its a common plug just a couple of wires to re connect and put back on the original place where it goes on the lhs lower rad support
just go to wreckers and get what u need
