Type S power window issue -HELP

Hey guys,

My driver side power window has a issue where the switch for making the window go up and down automatically doesnt work. Now the switch works when i keep my finger on it. But the DC5 has a option to do this automatically and it doesnt work


Anyone have any ideas? im stumped i was thinking maybe reset the ecu?

can it be the regulator?

disconnect the battery,
reconnect battery,
turn on your car,
put ur window all the way down and up but holding it down x 2
that will fix it.

ok so disconnect the negative terminal? and leave it for 5-10 mins?

doesnt have to be that long.. just leave it out for 30sec or something

just wind the window down and hold the switch down for 5 secs

then wind it up and let go, then hold the switch up fo 5 secs.

done.

answered your own question.

It resets when you d/c battery or ecu.

As stated the above method rectifies the issues.
