Hi,
If anyone has experience with this car, I have a leak somewhere around the steering rack. There's p/s fluid coming out. Not an alarming rate but enough to require attention.
How difficult is it to overhaul (change seals, etc) the thing?
I suspect there is some seal leaking. The RH boot is doused in liquid, apparently form inside. Is it possible it comes from inside the rack (i.e. I envisgae a scenario something like this: liquid leaks out of the steering into the rack and out, in the boot rack boot. Is this possible?
If I pull it out how do I know it's not enough to change the seals (i.i. perhaps the whole unit is to be reconditioned)?
