Hey guys, iv got a ek4(stock B16a2) and was jus wondering the average power output if i put
-Full exhaust (4-1 headers, 2.5inch mindril catbak)
- ITR cams with valve springs
- Hondata S300 ecu (with tune)
- Injin cold air intake
Any ideas????Cheers

Just upgrade to a bigger displacement motor. Cant give accurate figures, 0 -105kw.

Naa not really wanting to do that, i can go b18cr but the worked b16 will most likely produce more power with these mods, but if i do buy a b18cr i wont hav enough to do any mods.

Get the header, exhaust and intake. Don't bother with the ITR cams and valve springs. S300 and tune is up to you, but it's costly if you decide to go further. If you find you're not happy upgrade to bigger motor and you can still use the stuff you already brought.

my guess is around 95-100kw atw....
a stock ek4 should make 85+kw atw..

wat does a bone stock ek4 make at the wheels??
Each and every car is different and will produce different amounts of power from hundreds of different variables just throw her on the dyno and see what power figure it has will only cost about $50 dollars then you have a pretty power sheet and if you mod it you know how much power you have gained:thumbsup::cool:

Stock EK4 make 85-89kw at wheels
that mod should make 100-105kw at wheels
even my previous engine have more mod e.g. spoon high comp piston and ITB etc on B16A but still only get ~110kw at wheels, big money but still not that quick so now end up with B20
I don't think that mod on B16A would quicker than a stock B18CR.
I suggest stock B18CR instead for better result and future pontential.

100% agree with above post. If you can afford to do either b18cr swap, then do it over highly modding b16a2. Your car will be quicker overall

The thing is, if i do b18cr conversion its gonna be slower then a stock dc2r as the ek4 weights a touch more. Iv already put HKS 4-1 headers, and a de-cat pipe as well as a 2.5 inch catback, and an injin intake. Now im just waiting for my s300 to arrive which i am goin to go and tune. With the mods iv done so far there has been a difference in performance wise, but it will be different when the ecu is installed and dyno tuned.

do a b20 bottom end. Will have more torque then b18cR.
