water leaks when a/c on

just wondering if this has happend to anyone's 2k.
when the a/c is on, the is water leakin on the passengers side. there is quite alot of water comin out. anyway to fix it myself? know where to take it to get it fixed?

It could be the drain hose from the AC, sometimes it bends resulting in excess water buildup. Have a look and see if you can spot a small hose (passenger's side foot-well) and if it's all kinked then just unkink it, passangers sometime accidentally knock it with their feet.

If all else fails...

Have it checked out at the dealer asap as this could lead to bigger problems relating to your compressor. In any case call a Honda dealer to enquire about this.

Also, I did read somewhere that Honda did release a Technical service bulletin on their 00-01 models relating to this issue.

make sure u get it fix before you use the A/C again, cause the water can drop in to the CPU then you will need a new one!!

yeh common problem... the hose is in the footwell of the passenger side in alot of Hondas. can come loose if someone kicks it and will leak if u use the a/c. just plug it back in.
