depends on what offset of wheels..
maybe needs low profile tyres at the front and roll guard + cambers..

omg 9" is very wide.

thats a wide rim... on a drift car thats a wide rim...

I would be lead to believe that anything wider than 8inches would be overkill and not fit overly well without, ethier alot of customising or crazy offset...

17 x 9 all around? I've seen ep3 with 17 x 9.

+45? i'm not 100% sure but it might not clear the suspension.

i have 7.5" at +48 and it's quite close already.

17x9 +35 on an EP3 with 245/40. Camber of around 3 degrees at both ends.

+45 is going to be very close to the coilover at the front and very close to the trailing arm and inner guard at the rear. Get a DC5, they have heaps more room in the guards :p.

rear guard should be fine. 7.5 @ +43 doesn't fill it, plenty of room for a 9.

but as i said, the biggest concern for a 9 @ +45 is on the inside rather than outside.

yeah i was guessing it would fit but with harsh camber

if the inside touches the sussy, no amount of camber will save you. u'll need spacer instead.

Since we are on the topic what is the lowest offset we can run on a EP3?

u mean with 9" wide wheels?

with a 7.5", +3x should be easy. there are more space at the back than the front so u can go a lower number at the back.

umm whats the best recommendation for 18's? not sure with width and offset at the moment. In the future ill be looking for aftermarket calipers so something to clear it will be good.

regarding clearing calipers, it depends on what wheels u put on.

i'm running 18 x 7.5 +43/48. there are still space for a bit more aggressive offset. i put +43 Front and +48 Rear before. while the front is fine, the rear is tucked in quite a bit. so i'm running +48 at the front now and look is more balanced. as i said, +3x will be fine on a 7.5.

maybe u wanna run 18 x 8 for cheaper tyres (235/40/18) but speedo will be out.

Yup they are Enkei's. Rear guards on that car are rolled aggressively. Tyres are 245/40.

imo 17x8 is the best combo!! not too big not too small!!!!!!!!!!
