Hi guys, i got a 99 Ek1 civic and i wanting to get front and rear tie bars for my car.

I was hopeing that you can help me and tell me where i can get them from in Victoria. And also what is a good brand.

i have a used cusco rear tie bar for 120 delivered. its blue and will fit your Civic.

sounds good. where would i be able to buy the cusco tie bar?do i need a front tie bar aswell as the rear?and also how much difference would it make?

ASR reinforcement bar in stock too

The rear needs a subframe brace when using >14mm sway bars.

Go the ASR bar as it braces both the subframe/swaybar mounts and the suspension points.

PS> ASR do a kit with all the fiddly bits (endlinks, bushes) to attach an ITR rear sway bar.

guys is there any pics of the tie bar installed with asr..??
just wondering if this would sit just like the beaks tie bar... which is kinda too loow :P

normally, the tie bar wouldn't be sitting as low as beaks one.
The are bolted between the two sides of LCA and sitting almost middle of ASR.

Id go the cusco or carbing items for clearance :D

they do the trick

(even tho in my mind I cant see having that and an asr will do much more than add weight)
