Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone can help me out, or has had a similar problem as to what I'm experiencing now with my 7th gen. I've had the car since 2003 and bought it brand new and I've done almost 140,000kms. Recently as I'm doing freeway driving, I've noticed that the car seems to downgear - on level surface, not going uphill or anything. Usually the revs are sitting at around 2.3-2.5k when I'm doing 100km/hr on the freeway, but in the last week or so it seems to drop a gear and the revs are up at about 3k when maintaining a constant speed? Does it mean I might need to change the transmission fluid? as I'm not sure when was the last time this was done or is it the first signs of a failing transmission? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
