Hi:)

My friend she recently purchased some Xenon Light Bulbs for me from Japan and when I went down to the honda dealership they told me these lights bulbs might burn to hot and burn all the insulation on the lighting becasue these are 110w and also 130w. I just want to install these bulbs i dont want to have HID lighting etc.

can anyone please confirm if these light bulbs will burn to hot and damage the wiring for my 8th gen 4dr FD civicplease

get some phillips bulbs off ebay mate.. the 110W sounds a bit scary lol.. phillips draw 60W or something close, or u can look at a trader here (liquidsound, racenation, others..) who sell halogen bulbs for a good price.. i got a pair of some.. MTEC bulbs.. pretty good for the price i reckon.. and they wont draw like 100W out of the recommended 50-60...

hope that hlped

You do realise that what you have there are not Xenon lightbulbs. They are just regular halogen bulbs with blue-tinted glass. Stick to the ones that say 55W/65W. Not 110W.

if u want cheap bulbs - stick to MTECS from a trader here a OH. cheap, and pretty good for their price, and aren't going to burn ur headlight covers...

sorry to hijack this thread, didn't wanna open up another thread. What globe type is used in the factory fitted FD1 foggies?
