OBD1 B16A AT to MT ECU

Wandering if anyone has attempted this mod - where they unsolder a resistor in the ECU and jump another to convert from AT ECU to MT ECU.

Its claimed both ECU's are identical - difference is only in the resistors..

Ive done a search on this and came up with a couple sites that explain this:

so once this new car is ready to roll with a MT i'm going to try and change these resistors and run on MT with AT ECU...

has anyone else done this?

yes its as simple as changing the resistors

works just fine

cool. Does Dicksmiths sell the type of resistors needed? would you know? or Jaycar?

go to jaycar. they sell SMT resistors but I think in bulk.
