215/45/17 on ep3 rims

Hi everyone, Im planning to change my ep3 tyres soon.
I currently have 205/45/17 on them atm, but when i had a look at my friends 07 Cvc sports wheels, she had 215/45/17 on them.

Our rims are identical but just wondering was there a reason why mine a size smaller?

Im planning to put 215's on them, would this be ok?

it should be ok, i think it's just lower profile tyres.

You'll find that 215/45/17 is cheaper and more common. Most EP3's which are complied correctly have this size fitted!

215/45 R17 is the right size for stock EP3 rims. So go for it.

actually, I got the 225 rims already fitted (about to buy the tyres now) still using the 205 (stretched LOL)
