to remove my old muffler and weld a new one on (my own).

I usually do it myself with bolt-ons but with this new car everything is welded :thumbdwn:

My car had a straight pipe from the cat, got it removed and had a muffler and tip welded on for $120.

So you shouldn't be looking at more than $150 to get it done, especially if you're supplying your own muffler

Exactly,it's a 10 minute job unless they have to put a new piece of piping in there, for example if the new muffler dosen't match up,then add $10-$20.

I got quoted 80 bucks from Exhaust bros, agreed to the job then came back an hour later with a 120 bill including new piece of piping lol
