03-04 Dash Cluster Colour change

03-04 Dash Cluster Colour change anyone. i was thinking of doing to orange like the CL7R but yeah dunno what it looks like under the panel. i was thinking it would be as simple as the center console colour change. anyone got any idea?

how do you do it in the first place?
was the accent lighting harder?

accent lighting is simple. Did it for my 03 model luxury.

the lighting is a simple light behind the dash. Just to let you know, it doesnt look as good as the standard white. TRUST ME. i tried three different lights including these led ones.. they dont shine anywhere near as bright as the white ones.. very very dull.

did u use resistors?

had to.. otherwise they wont last.

tired stronger resisters.. cant remember the type.

Anyways, took it to an electrician, he even said it wasnt worth it.. but i mean.. some a$$holes are like that.. :( lol

try it man, doesnt hurt to try.. if u like the colour then keep it. Not too hard to change it back ;)

do you mean dash lighting change or centre console lighting change?

because ive only done the centre console...

the dash i imagine would be similar to the centre console, problem you might face is theyre all surface mount LEDs... meaning youll need an SMD soldering iron and some SMD LEDs...

.. what colour euro act??? can u change the light behind the gears number/leters ..?? cause the console and dash are nice bright white and gears are like a yellow!!
