6" wide seems good enuf for the 88 crx

but if you want to use 7" just make sure it doesn't rub the inside wheel wells...
also going for 7" wide mean you might want to get wider tyre tread right?
then that will increase more friction/traction, but might eat up fuel economy and speed.

15x7s may be illegal for your car seeing that your stock rim width would have been definitely smaller than 6" wide...

you could still put 205s on a 15x6 as you could with a 15x7...

actually i had 16x7's on my crx
it looked phat cos the rims would stick out a bit
and sticking out a bit when lowered makes ur car look a lot wider

i have 15x7 on my civic, and ocasionaly i get a scrape on a windy road with just be in the car..... If I have a passenger, it will scrape all the time on a hard fast turn (only on the left side)

And if i have a person in the back and 1 in front, it starts scraping around normal street corners, and if i have 2 back passangers and 1 front, will scrape all the time just veering right. and if i have 5 people in the car its not very good at all :(

Why not 6.5", my insurance company will cover me up to that size since the stock rim are 5.5"

Rowie, your complaining about the your wheels rubbing.....i got 18' by 7.5' on my civic, its only been lowered 1.5' and the fronts don't like many coners with just me in there....its going lower but not before the guards get a fondel :P

I ran 15x7 +35 with 205/50/15 tyres on my EF8. Had fitment issues with wheels poking out the guards and couldn't lower the car properly.

I now run 15x6 with 195/50/15 (Mugen MR5's with Toyo R1R) and 14x6 with 185/60/14 (BR Watanabe styles with RE001).

Have had no fitment or handling/traction issues.
