Hey guys i was working on my car and i noticed alan key holes at the top of the strut. I can put on in there and it turns, feels like there is some resistence there as well, as far as i know, i purchases my car with stock suspension.
Just wondering if this is stock suspension that jsut turns and isnt adjustible, or after market
here are some pics

the whole thing moves though, and makes gas noises..
lol
Ok you can adjust the damper then.
500 turns anti clock wise to stiffen damper.
and 1000 turns clock wise to soften.

its just there so u can take off the nut.
if u wanna change springs u have to take the top hat off
and to do so u have to take off that nut.
and if u use a rachett to take it off the whole suspension will move.
so they put that there so u hold the suspension while u try to
take out the bolt with a spanner.

Are you sure... I spent 1/2 the day doing over 500 turns and I dont feel any difference :confused::confused:
i heard you can lower your car if you tighten that 14mm nut up more
