Gday

I am in the process of putting a JDM EK4 B16A into my EH9 Si sedan.
i have it 90% complete, just finishing off the wiring. but i have come across a problem . . .

the engine does not have a VTEC pressure sensor, it looks like it has never had one??

does anyone know if this is normal?? has anyone come across this problem? do JDM EK4 B16A's not have them factory???

what is the easiest solution, can i just tap a thread into the side of the head where it is supposed to be and put it in??

please help

thanks guys

All B16A motors have a VTEC pressure sensor. As to exactly where I'm not sure how to tell you. I recently done a B16A swap and I'm 100% it has one, you'll just have to find it.

PM Benson. He'll be able to tell you where it is.

OBDIIa and OBDIIb ( EK4 EM1 EK9 DC2 DC2R ) do not have a VTEC Pressure Switch

if your runnig an OBDI ecu and do not want to rechip it to bypass it in the code then do this

this will trick the ECU that a VTP is there
