MOTOR CONVERSION

Hey Guys, This is basically the situation
I Live in Brisbane, Queensland
I currently Own a 94 Turbo charged D-Series Civic. And i want more power.
Next year i will be dropping out my motor But keeping the engine management and turbo setup, and putting in either a SIR B16a, B18C5 or H22a. I Am haveing trouble chooseing between these as i am not sure which would be the best value and handell boost the best.
If any one knows could they answer these questions ?

- Wich will be the cheapest or easiest motor to drop in (not the price of the motor included, just the price to mount it and get it running) ?

- How much (on Average) does everything for these motors cost to do a successfull swap
(Except Ecu)

- Are there any places In brisbane that will do a drive in drive out drop in of any of these motors for a set price?

- Will suspension have to be changed for any of these motors?

- Which of these motors has the best potential to work?

- Any of these motors have a repuation for handelling nitros better then the others?

Cheers Guys any Info would be really appreciated
If any of you could give me some helpfull into my Msn Address Is Ldraper_85@hotmail.com, Which i use very ofter

B18C5 is the best in terms of power to (engine) weight.

It depends on which D series Civic you have for the H22... but I'd take the C5 over it.

As for the rest... search is your friend :)

b16a and b18c should be about the same price to put in. H22a should be more expensive, if someone good puts it in you will get to keep your aircon and power steering. if someone not so good puts it in, well, it's a hot country....

hey.. i think i kno who u are.. is it coupe? a white one with a new rear bar recentl put in??? i own a white civic like the one u used to own.. but i got a b16A jap spec in it.. i got it done down at slacks creek for $3500 including engine and all that.. i think the best way to go would be h22a as it doesnt rev as high as the b series... apparently ur turbo wont be able to handle it at such high revs.. thats why most turbo cars only rev up to like 7.. with b16 and b18, ur going to rev pretty damn hard.. past 8000 is quite a lot for ur turbo to handle.. but i guess if u get it perfectly tuned it will be ok... theres a few b16a's around our area, half cuts going for like 3000, and theres a b18c that i had my eye on for 3500, i should be getting that.. but i dunno.. conversion shouldnt cost that much.. it really depends on who u go to.. i got my conversion done for under 1g, but i think he was being nice.. some places will do it for 2g... pm me or email me at baopham70@hotmail.com if u want to know a bit more about where i got my engine from and stuff like that...

just get a b18c1 JDM vtir
or a b18c2 AUDM vtir
and go from there, you will save alot of cash right there if u wanna go the b18c route.
if you keep your eyes open you will be able t o find a good deal (like i did with my b18c1 :D )
