does any1 know were you can do get your key cut?? in melbourne, for a dc2r

you can either get a cheapo nongen key from a locksmith or you can get an oem one from honda, who can then cut the key to the key code rather than just copy the old key.

i'm pretty sure dc2r have the red key system, do you have the red key? (its needed to program new keys to the immobiliser)

na it shuld of had 1 but i didnt get it with the sale, you can still get a key cut without it thou?

only if your get a non gen key and have at least 1 black key to copy from.

have you lost all your black keys ?

na i got 1 key to start the car, i called honda and asked them if they couldmake me a copy, they said without the red key you have to change the immobiliser and gey brand new keys cut for it. i fought if u can get the code of the black key you shuld be able to copy it yer?

just go to locksmith, cheapest and easiest way.

if you have the 1 black key go to an lock smith and have it copied, If you end up loosing you only black key then your in a bit of trouble. You will have to get a new immo control unit with keys, and have honda reprogram them in.

I can add genuine keys regardless of you not having the red key or any black keys, if you need it .

the lock shith read your black key and copy its code. no programmin is involved. since you have no red key you cant take it to honda for programming without replacing the immo unit.
