Is the Honda ipod adapter that is now available as an accessory compatible with the 3G Apple Iphone to play MP3's thru the car audio system and will it charge the phone if it is

OMG i am hanging out for this!!! Apparently there is a real problem if you use the current ipod adaptor incar with the iphone. It does not register and pnly plays half of the time.
