Looking to invest in Dvd player for the ride

Planning to install a DVD player for my car. Basic set up with single DIN LCD etc etc.

Any recommendations on where to pick up a nice cheap on. Specs must be that it's able to play .avi files other than that recommendations? Nothing too expensive, say 600 - 1000
