Tried this in the all motor section with no results.

All I need to know is the port size on a factory B16A inlet manifold runner.
Reason is I've been offered a set of 40mm throttle bodies and I don't want to reduce flow if the factory ports are bigger than the new ones.

Furthermore, if anyone has an old manifold spare, I'm happy to buy it off you for testing.

Thanks guys,
George.

We used 42mm ITB t/b and worked fine on a b16a.

You actually want the opening of the intake runners to be slightly smaller than the opening of the port to prevent reversion

Great, thanks for your input. You both seem to understand exactly what I'm aiming for, and I'm sure you've both got killer setups, good to hear some experienced feedback.

As for reversion, I had actually thought of that, as there would be no plenum to compensate for dodgy airflow and CBF porting it etc so good to hear it should work well.

The kit I've been offered is dead cheap and I won't be using forgies or bigger cams. Pretty much just going to throw them at the engine and drive well hard.
