Hi Guys,
I am just wondering if anyone out there has any idea what the two connectors located below the driver seat of DC2 does. One connector is orange in colour and white for the other.
If I'm not wrong, the white one is to plug onto the driver seat belt buckle. However, I have no idea what is the orange connector for.
Both of them has nothing plugged in ever since I got the car until I change my bucket seat recently. Also, the buckle for the driver seat that comes with the car has no connector.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Please keep the thread clean and answer if you know. Else, keep other irrelavant question to PM.
Cheers.

Im unsure on what the other one does but i just pulled my drivers seat in my dc2r and its only got the one plug, for the drivers seat buckle warning. Ill have a look at mine tonight but im unsure on why you would have the 2 connectors there.

I just cut the buckle cord off.No need for it.It's just annoying if you take the seat out from time to time.

I hate the seatbelt warning chime. Can I just disconnect the cable to stop it chiming when I start the car?

That chime gives me such a headache. The light on the dash, plus the fact that we have such good seatbelt awareness in this country is enough. I really don't even need to be reminded to put on my seatbelt.

Ide say just leave it really, just hook up the seatbelt plug and leave the other one. Or just leave them? You can tuck them under the carpet so you cant see it otherwise?
On another note, that chime comes from the tweeter looking device to the left of the steering column?

no thats a blanking plug, JDM and US markets had a foglight switch there if optioned. I think the chime comes from under the dash, and pre-facelift DC's are deafeningly loud, later models are much softer thankfully.
