URGENT-h22a shift linkages

guys,

mechanic tried swapping linkages from a prelude into my ej8 h22(from a jap h22a sir accord) and they were about an inch too long..

so i take i need to find linkages from an accord?

so are the h22/f22/f20 linkages all compatible/same length(as there is no chance of finding a h22 accord in aus)?

or

are there any other hondas with calbe shift that i could use linkages from?

called honda today and they gave me part numbers for linkages in 94-97 prelude. = 54115sm4020

and for accord 94-97 there are 2 types. 5411sm4020 (same as lude) and 5411sv4000

does anybody know the difference?
does anybody know anything?

but yer i also found cd5 accord at wreckers so goto go compare linkages. see theyr the right lenght..

just on a side note; guess how much they quoted for alternator- 1,295.70 + tax!!!

hahaha guru status. Your still a long way in regards to H series guru status.

You will always expect problems along the way man.Your almost finish now just little problems to sought out.

yea hence ppl used to pm me for prices on 2nd hand items as for some of the older DA9s it was over 2k, lol

why is finding dam linkages so hard ay! im going to call honda and buy the accord linkage tomorow and if it dosnt fit il strangle ppl with it lol!

and i found an alt at the wreckers so im going to go buy the alternator saturday. so atleast the car runs and we can use the broken linkages for the tune(if worst comes to worst)
