Hey guys know any brands of forged piston & conrod locally made 4 honda? I'm trying to stay away from USA since exchange is sucky.

I think u should still buy from the US, It will still no doubt be cheaper, For by b18c i once ordered main, bigend and thrust bearings (ACL Race bearings) made in Australia for $160AUD including airmail from the US. I was quoted $310 to buy them from my local auto shop. So yeah 99% of the stuff i got for my motor was from the US or other countries saving me over $10k total.
yeh i think its cos demand and supply of those parts in the US is so high, the prices have to be competitive.. where as in Aust. demand is alot lower so shops charge alot more for the same stuff.
ive also got aust. made stuff from o/s for less than local prices
ive heard of a few ppl getting stuff custom made or made to spec here in aust. prices werent over the top expensive, but more than US stuff.

Dang....I called Race Engineering US, right now to my door step it's $1000 including rings and delivery but no conrod and wrist pin :( I guess I'll just wait till AUD hits $0.70 or more....

you could be waiting a while I think...Building engines is a lot more expensive now than it was 9 months ago :(
