hi all, just bought a jazz not long ago and found that there is some problem for my front wheel bearing. so i decided to change it with an aftermarket one. after i change it i found that my ABS light and brake lights turns on for no reason. then i ask the workshop to repair it for me and they said not their fault!!! :thumbdwn: they say

they said it's not a big problem, maybe just some bugs in the ECU. can anyone here help me out?? they said they send the car to Honda and honda's ppl said can't find the problem either... anyone had similar problem before?

as said try resetting your ecu or else bring the car back to honda personally, they can read the fault code on the ecu.

Before you take it to honda, pull the ABS sensor out of the hub that you had the bearing replaced from and make sure it isn't damaged or covered in crap. As far as i know, the sensor usually reads off markings on the driveshaft and can sometimes get a bit upset after being removed to get the hub off.

A while ago a workshop that shall remain nameless did not re-install the ABS sensor on one of my cars properly after replacing a CV boot. Under hard braking the ABS would interfere so much I almost put my car through a fence and a redlight at an intersection, so the first thing to check i guess is that it is actually bolted back in properly.
