I've just replaced the rear tyres on my euro well ahead of when they'd normally fall due. I went to my local dealer and told him I was fed up with noise from the rear end. Without even looking at the car he said he'd had the odd euro in with undulations in the inside edge of the rear tyres. Sure enough when I ran my hand over the tyre I could feel the undulations! I asked him what caused it and he couldn't answer.

Has anyone had similar problems? Do you know the cause?

Did it happen to the tyres that came on the car when you bought it? Did you take it back to the same tyre shop for the recent swap?

what noises you hearing? like clicks?

I haven't.Maybe the rear wheel toe is out and needs adjustment.Get a 4 wheel alignment from a good tyre shop,should rectify the problem.

It didn't happen to the tyres that came on the car when I bought it. It happened to a pair of tyres i purchased from someone other than my regular supplier. I 've now gone back to my regular supplier and they've done the four wheel alignment.
To answer the question about "clicks"...no clicking just what I'd characterise as an extra layer of road noise beyond the usual.
