Yesterday I backed into a low concrete island in a carpark and scratched my rear bumper slightly and also slightly deformed my right exhaust tip. Luckily the collision was real slow but none the less I cannot stand my perfect finish being ruined, and by me!

As the bumper is plastic it wont rust so I was thinking of just putting a rear under spoiler or skirt over the scratch. This got me thinking, why spend ~$800 on just a skirt when I could possibly get a full body kit.

As the car is new im not sure is anyone makes aero replicas, or, even better, mugen replicas for the cu2 yet.

Im in Sydney so if any of you guys can suggest an option for me or a place that would be much appreciated.

I can tell you now that with $800 bucks you wont get a full bodykit, even if it is replica.
Because the CU2 is virtually a new car on the markets, there will be virtually next to no replicas at this point in time...and even if there was, you're prob still looking at over 1K for it because the market demand for these kits would not be high as, say, replica vertex kits for the S15

Do yourself a favour. Save up and if you really want a bodykit, get the genuine article. I've had a mugen replica on my CL9 and I met someone with a genuine full mugen kit and even though it looks the same, the fit, finish and overall quality was just exceptional compared to my fibreglass one, which had cracks etc due to scrapes

If this has happened to you once,
Once you get a kit it possibly might happen again. so i reckon you should just get it repaired.

With the economical crisis atm you wish you could get a full replacement for that much...

Might as well pay a smash repair place to match it and sand down if required and would only cost you like what $500 say guesstimate.

You could try these guys. They are in Kogarah (Ask for Micheal).

I don't think he does Honda's at the moment but he could probably source something for you, or at least give you some advice on what is available.

I used them for my wheels and was very happy with the service I got.

*edit* oh wait bumper is like $3k lol. my bad
Wats the difference between bumper and spoiler? by that i mean specifically for that mugen cu2 bumper/spoiler. when they say "no need for grille with bumper" do they mean that the lip is just an addon to ur stock car, grille is seperate, and teh bumper includes the bumper, grille and lip etc?

Bumper is full replacement.

Spoiler is just a lip kit stuck on so you retain oem grille

yes you are right.
