Hey Guys,

Will be looking at getting exhaust on my type R within the next few months, although i really dont want exhaust with that really loud high pitched tin can noise like ive heard on some.

So what do you have fitted on your DC5?

I was looking at the one for sale on carmate.com.au - Honda Integra 2001-2004 "CM Style" Exhaust, anybody have that one fitted, if so hows is it?

Feel free to post up some pics/vids:thumbsup:

Thanks

Have had quite few mates whove owned dc5r's... Best and by far most exhaust on all of them was the Trust Titanium Ti Catback.... Has an Incredibly distinctive tone too it.. cant explain but would highly recomend it.. And for weight its like 80% lighter thean stock and Made soo much torque and power on the dyno compared to stock..
He ordered it From croydon racing here in sydney... Highly recomend and sits very nicely too!
Check it out..

This setup is going to be hard to beat for performance . The muffler is a little superfluous though :p.

You are crazy... if it's Ti you need it to be blue! That Ause exhaust is awesome!

I also recommend this. Motec make some of the best exhaust systems out there. Actually all their products are amazing. I wish they would get to work, and make an ECU though.

You my friend, are AWESOME! I have never seen a Mugen N1 before.

On another note, the Spoon N1 on the DC5R, with Toda headers sounds sooooo freaking amazing!!!

How does Mugen N1 sound? It's not available to the public aye, you need a racing license to purchase one.

It sounds glorious in my opinion. Probably the best sounding DC5 exhaust I have heard, and I have heard a few. You can hear it on MugenBox's blue DC5 toward the end of this video: LINK (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPHabagfkNM)

Sorry, unclear.
I am referring to the top of the range one like Motec M880 which is like 4k compare to Kpro which is around 2k.

I think the mugen N1 sounds fantastic as well. For a race exhaust, it doesn't sound farty at all.

ChargeR's R1 has a nice deep tone to it as well. It'll be interesting to hear what it sounds like once its mated up to a set of headers.

Hey guys I got the Skunk2 Megapower 60mm from JDMYARD on my DC5R! It is a very loud exhast considering the Type R has little sound insulation. brand new without a carbon build up, you think to yourself how am I going to bare this for more than a week! But believe it or not it gets deeper, but not as loud after its warmed up. I would recommend this exhaust if you are keeping your headers and cat stock, but otherwise go for a fujitsubo legalis/RM/PG or some other exhaust that is on the quite side!
