depends, airbag or not?

if not, it can be done very easily.

if it does can still be done but the wheel will be close to u

a DC2R wheel (the entire wheel and hub) is a different spline to the EJ. You need a EK9 steering wheel to fit , for the same visual result (as a dc2r wheel)

it's too much effort, time and you'll have to get it engineered

not worth it go EK9 pay the 600 for the wheel that will fit up with no mods (even tho I would get it engineered as police love finding easy defects like that) its alot cheaper than paying upward of 900 for an ITR setup and engineering on top of that...

it didnt cost me 600 or close to 900.

where did u get that price from?
ill sell mine for 800 if u want to buy it.
nowadays the going price for a dc2r is roughly 500

EK9 are more rare to find also

i created a thread about it before from memory and told people how to do it but noone said anything LOL!

anywaiz to make it fit u can buy an airbag or non airbag dc2R wheel

buy the ek9 hub, u can actually source this in the UK through forums or ebay as ive managed to buy 4 already. cozt me about $50ish bucks each. and no i dont have any i bought them for friends as they know i got a dc2r wheel to fit. u can buy aftermarket hubs or OEM ek9 hubs. illegal or not it works

these plug straight into the dc2r wheels

I meant the steering column as well in my price without air bag... as you can put a ITR wheel on as the spline is diff

you can see on this pic. the stock OEM hub

http://www.next-trade.co.jp/asknetwork/2008/03/13/imgs/w22114454%20USED%20STEERING%20WHEEL%205.jpg

thats bolted by 4 x allen key bolts

swap that over to the dc2r which is the same and your all done :D

the steering wheel i had on my EM1 was from a dc2R from memory.

i guess it didnt have to much info that thread, i think its coz every said no it cant be done so i didnt bother

EDIT : i bought 2 x of the OEM ek9 hubs of these guys by emailing em before http://www.hkc-speed.com other 2 was from the UK, although i wont be able to find who that company was as its abit old to dig that info up

process? that was about almost a year ago, which i got it fitted.

i only have pix on my car.

what i would say is that, look at the dc2r rear hub, and the ek9 rear hub. both identical just size is different on steering whole fitment.

swap it around then boo ya!
