I just installed the Mugen CAI for my 98 EK4 (pre facelift) and while putting everything back together, I'm thinking there is no air duct like how the face lifted models (ek1, ek9) front bars have that air duct on each side for air to flow through?

So basically the intake is not really getting any strong flow of cold air in my case right?

why don't you make a pipe running from the mouth of the front bar forcing air up to the CAI ? could help, alot of people do it too ...
