15's n 16's both look good. check out the ek civic picture thread in the appearance section. 90% of them have 15" and 16" wheels

Depends what your budget it. If you can really afford to, go 20". Mad deals at ozzy/temple tyres.

also depends on the rim design.

ive seen 15's on an EK and because of the design of the rim.. they look small.

but alot of other running 15"s looks great.

also the cost of tyres goes up about $50 a corner when you go up a size

16's would fit the guard better then 15's mate...giv it a betta look

imo, 15's but thats just personal opinion. as other people have said, look for yourself and decide what you like

if u get 15's it will look good only if its low and the fenders near the tyres or lower...

17s ftw most days for easy of tyres compared to 16s (big diff in price near me for 16" tyres)

I would go 16s for dumpage purposes, but for budget use you can't go wrong with 15s

but 15s do look lost on such a large small car, lol

yea, was funny and stiff at the same time 225 rubber was grippy, but the wheels weighed a ton, think my economy hit 12.5L/100 with em, lol

Ouch!

When I went from heavy 17's to 15's,the difference was night and day.So much easier to turn and good rubber obviously makes a great difference aswell.I wouldn't go any bigger.

yea my car is huge, def going 16s as a min, as my old 14s used to smoke up the brakes with their failure at clearance to caliper, lol

why you wanna get 15s or 16s, they were trendy back in the early 90s...in this era and age 19s are minimum if you want your car to look half decent...

what is the best width and offset for a 15" or 16" rim that will require no mods (guard lipped/rolled) or scrub for a 99-00 EK hatch? (a.k.a direct bolt on/replacement)

Cheers guys.

Im going to be running 15x6.5" (easy fit, doing it for the cheapness in performance tyres mainly)

I can run upto 7.5" without issues on my 17" setup

Wasting your time if you ain't rolling on 18" these days.

18x7 +48.

Do it.

Don't forget to put something like Nankangs on them.

nothing beats 22" chromies....

AndreaCivic
27-03-2009, 07:40 AM
i read somewhere on here, best offset is around +35 - +40..
can't remember the rest of the spec though, 7" or 6.5" width etc..

What would be the best bet for some white 16" x 7" 4x100 +40???

My current wheels are CSA 15" that came with the car when I bought it and have been dying to get some white ones..

AndreaCivic
27-03-2009, 09:04 PM
buddy club makes some nice white ones, there were some white limited edition rays wheels at jdm yard recently.. or you could look at some oem ek9 wheels but they might be 15"
there is also work emotion crkai wheels in white with that offset i beleive..
