Question: Do you think you would of ran 11.7's with the cams setup you had before going to Buddy clubs?
mr_vtec
16-03-2009, 01:21 PM
i thought he was stock before the buddyclub setup??
Question: Do you think you would of ran 11.7's with the cams setup you had before going to Buddy clubs?
11.82 was as fast as it can go on stock cams on that weight. Half track is abit slower compared to this set up.
With buddyclub n+ cams , the potential is there , it might dip into high 11.5 sec.
As you can see on my 11.73 video clip , i hit the limiter on 1st and 2nd gear which is bad for the ET. 11.6 should be so doable

I will vouch for this. He did another run later on in the day and messed it up even more and ran 11.78. Its got heaps more in it. Its just a matter of finding the right set up to get the time. (By set up I mean tyre pressures, launch rpm, shift points, etc etc). The potential is there it just needs to be realised.
He will get there. It just takes a lot of trial and error to achieve the result. And you can be assured Yonas puts in the effort required. We are all a big fan of his and his car.

Just found this thread, wasn't sure who you were exactly so I posted comments over here:

Was excellent seeing the car run, and congrats on the PB. Was a solid car and is damn quick.. as someone above stated, you need to see this thing in person... it absolutely hammers... I couldn't believe it was NA :)
Thanks for all the info and the chat on the day too, definitely a clean setup and excellent result.

11.73 to 11.41 is still far away
My EGK24A still got abit more in it
