steering wheel

hey guys there a guy who is selling a blown air bag dc2r steering wheel and im interested in buying it, ive got a vtir that hasn't got srs airbags. so my question is can i rip off the blown air bag and use it with out the air bag because my car doesn't have any? and also would it just fit straight on with no drama's?

i would assume it can work fine. the srs light would go on if you have srs? but you don't so hmm..

i thought all vtirs woudl have air bag

Yeah I'm pretty sure all VTI-R's come with an airbag as standard (at least for the driver's side).

Also, since the DC2R steering wheel has blown an airbag you need to find a new airbag module anyway, because the front of the steering wheel is cracked open (where the airbag blew through the wheel).
