will a +50 16x7 fit?

Nope... not without a spacer or extended studs.

Offsets a tad too high imo.

I'm running +35, 16x7 on standard studs and it JUST clears my J-Speeds.

With the decrease in offset from stock - did you notice any drawbacks to the handling of the car ?
Are you running a 215 / 50 tyre ?

Wider track has made my handling better. So no draw backs... only improvements. But I use these for the street nowadays. Too exxy to f**kup on the track.

I use 205/45/16 tyres on the CE28's.

Also, +50 will not clear spork calipers.

You cannnn use spacers if you want. I use 3mm spacers with my stock 15" wheels for track work. And I don't run the washers that are there to space the caliper out. Some people don't like using spacers... and neither do I, but it's a cheaper way to get the car out on the track for a bit of fun :D

thats a big generalisation to make.. that a 50offset does not clear spoon calipers.

its in hte design of the wheel
if u get a wheel like a SSR REverse mesh wheel, theres no way it'll clear regardless if its 30 or 50 offset.

jase seems to have bolted on spoon twin blocks with jdm16" rims no spacers.. pm him
