EG auto Si - swap engine for another variant D series?

hullo team. Asking before i bother ripping it out and trying anyway.

Friend has a auto EG5 Si - engine is knocking. I have an engine off a manual EG4 gli.....will this bolt up and work fine with the Si auto box ?
(assuming i swap box , throttle body flywheel etc)

yeah it should all bolt up. ( dont curse me when you find somehting that doesnt match )

fly and GB will line up. not sure about the harminic balancer


you will also have to add the 314 code ROM to the ECU for the GLi D15B7

thanks for the quick reply - i dont see why not John :)
RE ecu , surely i can just run the Si auto ECU ? it will use all the same sensors etc.

you can run the Si ECU, but it wont run the D15 100%
