hey guys,

just need some help with doing this, would I go to a shop of some sort to get the letters machined off?

or is it easy to do and I can do it myself.

any information about this would be good.

thanks in advance guys!

you'd probably need to get it to a shop, unless you have a mill and bits at home.

just a side note, why do you want to?

i'm assuming he's shaving his rocker/valve cover.....

Go to any machine shop... they'll probably do it on a manual mill

angle grinder works, i got my cam cover (b16) shaved so i could have it airbrushed and they just did it with an angle grinder and then finished it off with a dremmel. worked well.

my mates did it, they would usually charge between $150-200 shaved and painted.

grinder can be messy unless you have the time and patience to make sure you get it right the first time

DIY ftw. like EK4 guy said

grinder with flap discs then go over with a belt sander...
easy as... :thumbsup::thumbsup:

if you dont have the confidence and/or these tools
maybe go to a performance shop and make an inquiry.
they might be able to help you out

if you buy these tools, least you got em for future mods :thumbsup:

You can use a buffing tool with the appropriate pad...
