thought i would share some wisdom for all the ricers out there
bought some black smoked halo projector headlights off ebay. cost 300 landed (back with a 94c au vs us dollar) good luck getting it that price now!!
Fit - not OEM but passable. everything screws in ok. need to make a "harness" to plug in halo rings as you are only given 2 wires. i used some of plugs from spare shiz around the garage.. but basically plug and play.. 7/10
Looks - love the smoked look as my car has black grills, black number plates, black tint windows and now black tinted headlights, really matches my car. angel rings are very cool at night, cant see during the day. very very unique (havnt seen anybody with black smoked yet).. 8.5/10
Cost - $300 landed.... 5/10
Quality - H1 bulbs supplied for high and low beam. one has burnt out and beams are not stretching as far as oem. this might be caused by the tinted cover(might even be defectable?). dont feel as comfortable with night driving, find myself highbeaming to get extra sight. one halo is on the blink. however i'm very suprised at no moisture inside the casing :)...4/10
OVERALL..... 5.5/10
for the price i got it for im not complaining, but they might be defectable, and dosnt give as good vision as oem. i really like the way they look on my car though. very cool indeed......
if i were to rewind time. i would probably not buy them... or maybe i would. i dunno
