i just put on a 4-2-1 OBX stainless header on my B16A.

how when i boot it i get like a zorst leak on top rpm....i called the zorst place and he goes thats a common prob when u put on aftermarket headers and there is more flex.

to fix it i will need to install a flex pipe before the cat....is this true?? or is he pulling my leg?

anyone ever have this experience?? what can be done?

am i losing alot of power here???

thanks

yeah I had the sme problem with my Xforce 4-2-1 headers....the flared flexi joint that mates the cat to the collector was pulling away from itself when torque twist occurred, resulting in extra noise, and an obvious leak....fix as per the suggestion made by the shop....a bit of ss flex pipe to replace the flex joint should fix it

yeah, a flex pipe is a good idea when your putting on aftermarket extractors
