Stereo & Clock not working fuse is ok ?

The other week my stereo was cutting out at times

But now it's stopped working and taken my dash clock out with it

I've checked the fuses under the dash and none are blown

Anyone have any idea what may have caused this ?

I'm not worried about the stereo as due to be replaced (before it stopped working the laser had gone and before that the screen grafix had screwed up)

sure that the backup fuse hasn't gone ? (in the engine bay)

maybe stereo was earthing somewhere and blown fuse on back of the deck?

have u taken the stereo out to check for loose/exposed wires?

have you acutally changed the fuses? they may not look blown but can be restriction curent flow. change them anyways
