So B16 turbo or B18CR naturally aspirated?

B16B is over priced and has bugger all torque compared to the B18CR (which is prob the same price atm, lol)

I personally like the vtec crossover stock on the B16A2 :D

for ease of fitment, buy an EK4 halfcut it will work 100% on the Vti :D

Crossover = the "noise" your car makes when it hits vtec... the booooBAAAAHHHHHHHH sound lol

Suggestions for your mate:
a) dont race on the streets
b) get some driving lessons
c) if money is no issue, b18cr or k20/24 provides a better platform for bigger HP.

Nice Qball lol

B18CR will be the best option, and you can turbo it later on
also its the coupe version so being a bit bigger u can always
do with the extra power...

B16B and B18CR have the same block so u can get stroker kit to make it
1.8L later down the track and also turbo if u want...

i prefer NA cause its just awesome the amount of power they make NA...

but if u say money aint a issue... $17k get your mate a K20A running....

if moneys no object, I'd be selling it and buying a car that is already turboed for the added convience of having it stock...

once you start talking boost, many do the numbers and find owning a 2jz or sr powered car outweigh the fun & money (and challenges) of boosting a great NA sportscompact car

I love NA, ITBs, all motor

but gangsta flutterz is something that will cost and arm and a leg to do properly in a stock NA car

there's block stregth to look at (sleeve kits), head work, drive shafts, etc

a number of things have to be ticked along the way, but most engines will do well running 7-9psi fine before shiz starts to fail
