As title states,

Ive been wanting to get a set of coilovers for my car for a long time but just havent been able to get that sort of cash together!

So ive bought a set of skunk 2 springs & was about to fit them up when i thought to myself, might aswell put a good stiff set of shocks in place aswell whilst i got the car on the hoist, thats not the only reason though as my line of thought is telling me that ide be bound to get fairly decent results with a good spring/shock combo on the car anyway.

So my question is what brand & type of shocks does anyone recomend for the DC5 for use with lowered springs and increased rigidity?

Thanks guys!

(the springs 7 shock combo will only be temporary setup untill i can afford a crazy set of coils)

Well the springs cost FA compared to coils so i suppose I can just fit em up to the stock shocks for the time being & wait for some cash to filter through!

Arghh I promised myself when i bought the car that if i was going to modify it, iw ould try do it to the upmost standard & only use the best bits & pieces, & i even promised myself i wasnt going to do springs and go straight into coils, then I got a Mrs.

Didnt end up getting Koni shocks, I think im just gonna save and either get BC coilovers or Buddy club N+, by the time ive done it all with shocks i would have spent the same amount i would have for coilovers, so just gonna save up for now!

ah ok. Dont get BC coilovers! i had them in my wrx, the ride was really bad and i ended up just putting my original shocks in and H&R springs, rides so much better now.
