Driving home from work in Villawood I was driving next to a purple Honda Accord Euro. It was a discrete purple. Think of it as a darker Violet Crumble wrapper colour. I wasn't aware they came out in this colour. That colour is not in the brochure or the website. It looked quite hot actually. Some old fuddy dud was driving it. Was anyone aware of this colour?
u sure the sunlight wasn't playing tricks on ur eyes?

Don't tell me someone was dumb enough to throw money down the drain just to repaint a brand new car. What a joke that would be.

I've seen at least one in the exact colour that you described here - I've seen two but it may have been the same car twice.
I'll look for some more info - it's not a stated color on the Honda website.

Yep thats the colour! I was at a Honda dealer last year and they had one as a demo. Its got the ivory coloured interior. The dealer told me the demo was the last one they were getting as the colour got discontinued.
Its actually quite a nice colour. Very rare also as not many people got it for some reason.

Trippy. I asked if they would bring me in a milano red one seeing as I had to wait to get one built in Japan anyway. They laughed at me. I could have been the only one in Aust with a red one. I suppose I could have brought a metallic ruby one and still be the only one in Aust with a red one!

I'm pretty sure this colour is only available for luxury version. Standard version doesn't come in this colour. It's like the arctic blue version from the standard version, cause luxury doesn't come in arctic blue.

Someone mentioned that they want a milano red- I can tell you that you can order that color for the 05 model. Pop down and see your local dealer.

2003 had the purple for luxury with the cream interior and the arctic blue for the standard, but too many people were getting confused and they decided to rationalise the line up.
Apparently the purple wasnt too popular either. I was after one, but they pulled it b4 i could, so got a graphite one instead.

the 2004 model update changed a few things.
firstly, indigo blue pearl was deleted, and arctic blue is now available for both standard and luxury versions. secondly, the steering wheel emblem was changed from a matt-finish to an enamel finish. thirdly, the vent-adjusters have a silver/chrome trim strip on them
there are probably some more minor changes, but these are the few that come to mind...

My Euro has all that, and I got it in 2003. Maybe because I got it in November, so it was a 2004 model.

Milano red is the same bright red as the Jazz, S2000 and Integra. It will replace the current Royal Ruby Red for the 05 model, which is of a darker shade.
I've got a purple Euro... well not me, but a family member.
Didn't know they were uncommon :s
It looks quite nice a purple/blue colour, its luxury as well. Wouldn't mind driving it one day, but that's not going to happen.
Anyway, thats my input to this convo :)

I just spoke to an ex-Scotts Honda salesman mate of mine.
He said they sold 200 of them in 03 and because Honda thought the colour looked sh*thouse, they removed it from their line up.
Did some-one say you can now get Artic Blue with tan leather and that a newer Red will be available in 05?
Dyammit. I like my black with tan leather but that sh*ts me that they keep changing their minds.

If they had black with black interior, I would have bought it. Instead I took the Arctic Blue with black interior. The Milano red with black interior would rock! It should look like the JDM Euro R.

For 05YM:
Arctic Blue will only come with a black interior.
Milano Red will come with a black interior.

I think they have cocked up all the colours. We should be able to get what ever colour interior in what ever car. The US get grey interior as well (not that anyone would choose it). They should have a "House of Kolor" colour chart and you get to pick a colour when you order one (highly impractical, I know!).

JDM has all colour combo. All colours have a choice of two different interiors. There's even 2 colurs which we don't get (Deep Green Pearl and Misto Pale Green Metallic). Not to mention that also have a 2.0L AWD version of the Accord :o
