View Full Version : DC5R lips fit on dc5 base?

so can a dc5r front and rear lip bolt on to a dc5 base?

if not is there any modifications i need to do before doing so?

For the front lip it should just be bolt on after u remove the black plastic lip that is already there. Just make sure you have clips (u can reuse some from your current lip) and two self-tapping screws on each side that go into the bumper.
You also need two bolts that attach the lip to the bumper near the middle. The bolts that come off your current lip are too short so make sure you've got some longer ones. You can go to Bunnings and buy some nut and bolts to improvise if you don't have any... just make sure the thread fits.. I did that and it worked for me.

Im not 100% sure about the rear but it should just bolt on as well but there might be some drilling for screws and cutting near the exhaust hole on your current bumper.
