my car is JDM DC2-R (96 Spec), the PCD is 114.3x4,
Now, I would like to upgrade my braking power. therefore I will go for the Bang with bucks setup.:p
As far as I knew, I need OEM ITR calipers (17VN15) + a pair of 282mm rotors.
But, the problem is...... ITR has a PCD:114.3x5 rotor and my is 114.3x4.
does any JDM version owners or experts can tell me, which other honda model of rotors will suit my need:confused:
p/s: I source from ozhonda forum, some1 said Honda Prelude 93-95 (BB4) 282mm, 114.3x4 will suit my need.
I hope this thread could help other JDM DC2-96R owners to solve their problem when they want to upgrade front brake with BANG FOR BUCKs setup. Thank You:angel:

yes you can use those Prelude rotors and either ITR calipers or Prelude calipers. you may aswell upgrade the master cylinder and booster, will be a great combo

yeah I understand I need prelude rotor, but which year of prelude? (93-95 BB4?)
Will the rotor be DIRECT Bolt-On without any minor modification? (eg: redrill PCD and hub centric diameter.)
and.............
Does ITR & prelude caliper are 100% SAME?
how about there caliper brackets?(both had the SAME thickness(T) too?)
-I found 2 different set of ITR calipers, the differences between both the ITR calipers are the THICKNESS differents: T25 & T23. so which one is the real ITR caliper eventhough they both have the same part numbers?

if you get rotors for a Prelude with the same lug pattern then yes it will be straight bolt in. i would say for the calipers, go for AUDM ITR calipers. but see if you can get a set just for test fit then go from there. or if its easier to find a prelude caliper that came of a 282mm rotor, go for that.

Will I need to machined a couple of mm off from the brake bracket for align the rotor? By how many mm?

I guess at this point in time, no one can answer your question.
if you don't need to do it then its good, but if you need to do it, you need to do it.
I'm sure you're not going to give up on the whole process just for a little grinding.
Just buy the BB4 rotors and try line it up, see how you go.

Yeah, I agree with you. At this stage, I need to get a set of BB4 rotors to try fit and see how it goes.
does BB4 hub centric diameter is 64mm or 70mm?
thanks :)
