My inlaws (who aren't car people) mentioned to me today on the phone they went to a battery place to replace their battery in their 18mth old Jazz. They mentioned something about a sticker on the battery saying it was a special type of battery or it had to be installed a certain different way. Is there something uncommon about the battery or are they just being scared by some normal warning sticker about making sure the leads are connected + to + - to - ?

They can use NS40ZL or MF40B20L. Battery dimensions are 197 x 129 x 224 mm

Could be that it's CVT and you can't disconnect the battery without taking it back to Honda since they need to replace the gear ratios etc I know all CVT Jazz's have a tag that says do not d/c battery.

That sounds possible, although my inlaws would have only bought an entry level Jazz - would they still have CVT?
