Hay Guys
Just wondering what boots do people wear for everyday riding?, Also what are comfortable ones to get?,
which shoes would be appropriate for a pre leaner test.

Cheers

Mate best to ride shoes that have a good leather outsole and good grip at the bottom. if you cant afford riding boots, try and get some solid shoes, that would survive a stack.
Dont wear rabens or tn's cause ive seen them torn apart after a lil stack cause they are made so cheaply. You want want one with good grip at the bottom cause you want some decent grip on your pegs and when you put your feet on the ground.

Just try and save up for riding boots, they may cost a bit of dosh, but its worth your safety. Cause it will prevent your ankle and foot from the initial impact and keep it safe. As well as keeping rain and other dirt out of your socks! They look cool too! :D

I have a set of RJays H2Os...got them for about $40 so they were a bargain, but think they usually rrp at about $150

They're comfy enough for "everyday riding" and have all the protection you need without being hardcore track style.

You can't scrimp on safety when you're on a bike man.

I've got some Alpine Stars Octanes from the states. They're nice 'n comfortable. A bit stiffer in construction than the usual short boots. For cruising around town the boots which are more like sturdy shoes and which go over the ankle are okay. There are quite a few brands with those types of boots now - Alpine Stars, Puma, Sidi, Joe Rocket, Dainese and some smaller, specialist brands like Askew Racing and Piloti.
