Hi guys, please bear with me. Got a typical noob question...

Will there be any effect from using a wheelset with highly different offset from stock? I'm talking about +55 to +40 here, so if there's no lowering done will this cause any rubbing of the inner/outer parts? Been trying to figure this out but can't picture it in my head.

Read in another thread that more stress will be caused to the parts when using a different offset too, anything else I should watch out for?

Appreciate the help guys:wave:

Your offset isnt that low so there will be minimal if any increase of load / stress on your components. As for scrubbing if you are keeping the same diameter / width rim and only decreaseing the offset it shouldnt be a worry, especially if the car is stock height, 15mm wont give you any dramas.

Thanks mate for the answer. Got a spare set of wheels with different offset, thought of using it while repairing the stock ones.;)
