Hi all

i have a h22a gbox with lsd

When i change gears or go to put the car in 1st gear it feels very notchy. like i can feel the gears.

Very rarely does it go in smoothly

could it mean that i need a new clutch? or is it time for a new gearbox or a rebuild?

How can i fix this problem or reduce it as it is annoying me.

This has been happening for a long time now.

Any help would be great

Thank you.

remember its a cable shifter not rod...

changed gearbox oil recently? what oil are you running? run a thicker oil for a cover up 'band aid' fix otherwise if you're unfamiliar with gearboxes pay some good money to have it checked out

how mnay kms have u done on that drivetrain anyway?

check input bearing and clutch release bearing

There is over 100,000Kms on it at least.

It seems to be getting worse.

I will def get it checked out. as i can hear noises when i put the clutch in and out.

Check clutch master/slave for leaks, could be failing to give you
enough pressure when you put your foot down and thats why it
feels a bit notchy.
